Lyon secured their second consecutive win in Ligue 1 against Ajaccio at the Stade de Gerland on Sunday. The match ended with Lyon securing a 2-1 victory over their rivals.

Lyon came back strong after the break, however, and scored twice to secure all three points for themselves. The first goal was scored by Alexandre Lacazette, who has been out of action since March due to injury. He scored his first goal since returning to action, and he also assisted the third goal, which was scored by Romain Saurel.

Despite losing their opening two games of the season, Lyon have now won two matches in a row and look set to be one of the top teams in Ligue 1 this season. Their victory over Ajaccio was a significant statement of intent, and they will be hoping to continue their good form into the remainder of the campaign.
